I was very pleased to give out the awards sponsored by the PB County Reading Council to these Poetry Contest winners. Best part: they read their prize-winning work!  

I exchanged books with engaging author and 8th grade honor student Aihber Khan.  She is working full steam ahead on her second novel. Yes, 8th grade! Go Aihber !

James Paterson keynotes the opening of #aprilisforauthors at Palm Beach Gardens HS today, with strong words about the value of reading. Later I gave out poetry prizes, did readings and signed books – good busy day!
